Hats Off to the Parents of Fayette County Georgia

There's been much grumbling regarding the lack of funds at the Fayette County Board of Education. Some of it comes from teachers who have been asked to "give back" their raises and some from the parents, who are also feeling the effects of the down turn in the economy.

A very special thank you goes to the wonderful parents of children who go to school in Fayette County, GA. They are responding to the cries of the teachers and are out buying supplies that the school system is not currently providing due to spending freezes.

The Office Depot in Peachtree City reports that they've been selling a lot of copy paper that is going from the parents directly to the schools. Some parents are buying paper for each of their children's team teachers.

So, thank you to the parents of Fayette County. Once again, you're rising to the top to demonstrate kindness for all of our students.
